The turbo on my 03 dodge is leaking oil between where the center section and compressor housing join again. This is the 5th turbo that has done this, two stock ones that were replaced on warranty and this is the third II 62/80 that is leaking again. I got this one replaced this spring and it was fine all summer now that the weather is getting cold it is leaking again. None of the turbos had any play in the shafts, I have a bov valve so it never gets barked, I do have a exhaust brake. No one i talk to Know what is causing this and the truck only has 98000 km on it. I shouldn't have to change the turbo every year. Any help would be appreciated. :bang

This may sound stupid, but i'm going to put it out there anyways, because after three turbo's something has got to be being missed. Are you Certain that the oil is coming from the turbo and not leaking down from somwhere else?

it is coming from the turbo the boost tubes have oil in them to

your turbo oil drain is restricted. if it happens to any turbo you put on then it has to do with the drain. the oil is not getting out of the center section fast enough and it floods, finding a way out. there should be very minimal pressure in the center section. your exhaust pressure is greater than the compressor side so itll find the easier way out.

Pacbrake has also had an issue the the 6 speed manual trucks. You said you have an exhaust brake, just not sure what kind. If that is what you have, give them a call, they can help you out. Another guy has had the same issue on his 06' or 07' can't remember the year. Been through several turbo's.

I have a jacobs exhaust brake but i will call and ask because i do use it to warm the motor up in the winter. The only other thing i can think of is crankcase pressure but the blow by hose seems fine.
