turbo question

i changed oil today and decided to look at my turbo. thier is quit a bit of oil around the out side, but thier is absolutly no play inthe wheel. but i was wondering what the oil is around it? its a hy-35 with 129000 on it

Is there oil on the compressor side or the turbine side?

Well you have a paper filter so its not coming from there =\ How much boost are you seeing?

tops out at 18-19, the juice has only been since the end of march and all i had before that was a banks big hoss and a hypertech so nithing that would strain it, so what could the oil mean and becomin from?

It is probably toast. If the oil is really we then it is for sure done. I have seen HX's that were really black everywhere under the compressor housing but not "leaking".
The oil would be Working its way through the front piston ring seal (most likely)
