Alright folks after coming home for leave and driving the truck for the first time in a year I’ve decided that its time to go ahead and put a larger charger on it. I would like to be making roughly 450-550 hp. It’s the same truck as my signature any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No experience witht the 63/68, but from what I've seen it should work well for what you want.

I bet those injectors get you to the lower side of that goal anyway.

My 62 made 450-972 before the cam.
I'd say 63/68-14 as well...

thanks for the input guys, im gona go ahead and start looking into to a 63/68. Hopefully it will be waiting for me when i come home again.

I think the silver 62 would do the job very nicely.. a little higher injector would be nice.. but its a 62/71/14... me with 100's id do a 62/65/14..

Why? F that small turbine

I remember the "Screaming Eagle" 63/68/14 that came out several years ago, but who else makes a 63/68/14 with a 2nd gen compressor for a fair price?

Well A family emergency has came up and I'll be coming back home sooner than planned. Dipped into what i had set aside for a turbo for the plane ticket. Looking around the cheapest 63/68/14 I could find was about $1450 and it was the "Screaming Eagle" on dieselautopower.com. I'm still planning on buying one just going to have to wait a little bit now.

Get ahold of a good turbo builder... They can be had cheaper.

Had a friend do a cool and clean (for a 24v) 500 with 7x.009's and a 62/71. Without knowing what you plan on doing with the truck, 7x.010's will run well with a 63.

7x.010's will run well with a 63.

Thats what I run with my 63/68/14 from ED - ENGINEERED DIESEL - turbos

I also have a hotter VP pump.

The little turbo tries it's darndest to clean up all the fuel. I have a pretty good haze with all phasers set to kill. It doesn't black out behind the truck, but it is visible.

Someday it will be the little turbo in a twin setup. Someday.
