Turbo questions???

I have stumbled upon a KKK K31 Turbo. I've heard these are great chargers, but I have no Specs on them. Can somebody tell me some specs, Inducer Size? Compressor Wheels Size? Etc? Are they good turbos? Also I think he mentioned that the actuator is bad? What is an actuator? Is that the waste gate? Thanks guys
 
Actuator is the wastegate. Wastegated housing would work for a set of twins, but I don't see you getting it lit as a single.
 
No way to weld up the wastegate??? Just wondering!!! Thanks for the quick reply!!!
 
Yes you could weld it shut but I looked at the charger as well and who knows the size of housing on that thing. Maybe go get a housing for it and you might have a decent deal but its still alittle dinged up but for the price......
 
Thats kinda what I was thinking...any more opinions? Is it a 2.8" Charger
 
The big deal with the k31 is the compressor wheels. They have a forged mill wheel. I would pickup a Borg s400 with a 71mm inducer. Cheap!!
