Turbo rebuild/upgrade ?

Ok so my Super B Special is out for a rebuild. Has minimal shaft play and both wheels spin freely but I'm doin a pretty big rebuild on the motor so I figured I would rebuild the trubo too.
Anyways my question is would it be cheaper to rebuild/upgrade my turbo to a 66/83/.91 or just buy a turbo with those specs. I have found that turbo brand new for $750 shipped. I have the Special up for sale and it will be rebuilt but regaurdless I'm gonna run a 66.
Was just wondering what route you guys think would be better.

I just talked to John at Majestic Turbo about the same issue and he said I'd be ahead to just buy a 66 new.

Ya imo you'd be way better off just having it rebuilt and buying the 66. Imo upgrading turbos just isn't worth it.
