Turbo vane coating????

Here's the innerds of my turbo (intake side anyway), has the coating come off that one vane and if so does this mean replacement turbo and other things??

The vanes aren't coated to begin with. I really don't know what that stuff is...all my turbos have had some sort of paint or something on at least 1 vane.

Must be a "timing" mark LOL

That paint is used for rpm pickup when balancing.
