Hey guys,

Planning on upgrading my turbo here after I get my 150hp sticks in and was wondering what turbo vendors you would suggest for a 62/14 or 64/14?
I am considering II, HTT, and Piers...

Thanks.

What are you gonna do with the truck? I towed 12,000 lbs wtih 3.54 and 285 tires, about 800 feet elevation. I had a 62/12. I would recommend the 12cm housing, if you go with the 14 you need to keep the rpm up while towing. The 12 struggled to keep things cool under 2000 rpm in 6th gear, it would be running right at 1200-1250 below 2000. 2000+ rpm it would cool down.

Street performance and the occasional hook...

I heard High Tech was coming out with something cool soon.

I'll see if I can get some info.

love my sps62. can't say it enough times. I put about 10k miles on it on one truck... I've got about 42k miles on it on my current truck. It's never been gated below 48psi... as high as 55psi, and was at 50psi for about 35k miles.

I had the air cleaner off a couple months ago, and the shaft felt like brand new.

when/if I sell my current truck, I'll probably be pulling it off and keeping it. it feels like part of the family now!

I run a htt myself and i love it, id go with a htt 71 series or sps series for the larger exducer wheel. dont skimp out i got a killer deal from chuck at new era diesel

I was looking at their custom s300s with similar specs to the II and HTTs...

you can just pick your flavor on that deal... any of the major vendors will be able to provide you with a good S300 variant. They're pretty much all using the same hard parts

i agree with forrest they are all gonna be pretty much the same, the only real choice your gonna have is whos customer service you want to go with i prefer HTT. compressor exchange program, down to earth, and no bulls**t. I have a lot of piers stuff on my truck but they didnt like to answer their phone. and i hear many good things about industrial injection as well. i went with the best price for what i got.
