im wanting to put a 3rd gen turbo on 2nd gen truck. what mods have to be made to make this work?

its not a stock turbo its a 66/14

Pick up a 3rd gen manifold and modify/replace the downpipe, that should get it

The 04.5 and later stock turbo is BIGGER than a stock 2nd gen.

Your stock manifold will work, You would need to fab a down pipe and a cold pipe. It isn't too hard, just need a welder and some patience.
