Turbos

I'm not very active here...and I'm not in the bigger side of the competition diesel scene...I'm more or less a street beater...

I've been reading a lot lately and an thinking about tinkering on a low budget sled truck...

My current question is on turbos...do any of you guys work and/or build your own turbos? If so where can you find parts for them?

Id like to add, I have access to a machine shop fully cnc equipped..

I dont work on them but just bought a new Mad Turbo Werks stage 1 an I love it. It spools up faster and sounds alot better. I wish i would have had time for him to put the billet wheel in but i needed it the next day.

Yea ...Ive drag raced for years...and there a nothing low budget about it...but I see the humor in my statement...

Guess I should have worded it different...

Im going to build a sled truck on a budget...one that the average guy could afford to do...

It will primarily be with used parts and as much diy as possible
