ok i had a 62 on top of a 475 i took the 62 off the twins and put it on my 04 and i trying to put my stock turbo on the twin but there is about 3/4 of an inch gap between the hot pipe and exhaust housing how would i fix that

Cut off the flange, weld in an extension to the hot pipe and weld the flange back on?

What post #2 said. I made a spacer consisting of two stainless steel v-band flanges with the non-vband sides welded together. It's about 1" though and they are s400 t4 exhaust flanges so not sure if that would help you at all. If you wanted to do what I did, which is not the cheapest route but is reversable considering it's just held on with v-band clamps, you could always shorten the non-vband side of the flanges to your need. Good luck.

thanks okish and nicktf im glad there are some mature people on here

duck tape?

quack quack

i dont think duct tape can handle the heat

better off using spit and toilet paper

you see, the moisture in the spit will keep the paper from burning

if that dont work alum foil will git r done...

but its more money
