I was thinking of building some twins for my truck using my stock charger and my Silver Bullet. Would this be a good combo?

Actually, he would just need a bigger turbine housing. Somewhere in the 1.32 A/R.
BD has been doing the 2-S300 twins kit for years with their towing twins.

I thought the BD kit was a 57mm s300 on top and a 66mm s300 on bottom.

Alrite, I was just wondering. I originally was just gonna do a stocker/s400 setup but I got to thinkin today about just using my silver bullet. Ill just go ahead and buy a kit for the stocker/s400 setup. I want a lil more than just 575hp. I dont tow much with my truck, just mainly runnin around town and maybe a few highway trips every now and then. I just want a set that will spool fast and be able to support 600-700hp.

Any tips as to what would be a good bottom charger?

with the stocker you could go with a borg warner k-31 which is a 71mm inducer with a 1.38ar housing. it would support your hp goals

Ok thanks for the replys. Im new to the whole twins thing. How would a stocker/74mm spool compared to Silver Bullet as a single? Thats all I have experience with. I haven't played around with turbos much.

Twins spool a tad slower than the upper charger.

There was a guy in the classifieds who wanted to trade a 62/65/14 for a 66mm turbo. Just an idea.

What about a stock charger off of an o6 and a 60 series off of a detroit.

Detroit 60 serie charger is proably similar to a K31 because I know for a fact that the K31 is a direct replacement for this application but I believe that the K31 is better. If you compare both, it' easy to see the difference. I have a K31 FMW and the compressor wheel is a real peace of art !!!

There are also some S400s that are for the Series 60 application too. The common S475 (part #171702) that get used for compound twins appears to be off of a 500 horse series 60 detroit by my research.

The turbo off the 60 series detroit is a 74mm garrett gt4202. Atleast the one I pulled off a 60 series is. I'm sure there are other turbo options on those trucks though. Do you guys think that a 66/71 over a 74/82 would work well or are those turbos to close together in size?

I think it will be very laggy. If you did a 62/65 or 71 that would make a good combo.

I agree it would probably be pretty laggy. But its what I have. I also have a stock turbo that I could put on top as well.
