So, I am looking at a truck with this twins setup. I have heard the 40/50 combo is not the best. Sadly, I do not know the housing sizes on these turbos, so I cannot be of much help there. I am assuming the 150 sticks will help get rid of some of the spooling issues I have been reading about.

Can you guys shed some light? I am new to twins and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

No goal. This truck has them on there already. I am not planning on doing much modding on this truck after purchase. Just basically wondering what it puts out and how they will work together. I have heard from an experienced turbo diesel mechanic and fellow cummins owner its going to be a great setup and should push about 550whp, but others have said the turbines are too similar in size and won't work together well. Just wondering what you guys have to say. Thanks.

yeah the hx50 is too small for a primary hell that thing might run better with the hx40 as a single

both of those chargers came in a few different sizes so If you have a smaller 40 and a larger 50 it may be OK. BD tow twins are just a 57/66 set.

The Hx50 is off an N14 cummins. As far as the hx40, I dont know.
