Unlimited Drive line Tire Size?

Hi Guys

I read alot about what type of tires everyone is running , STS, BFG's etc, But What size of tire are you running with an unlimited driveline ( Drop box/reverser rockwell) and 3.0 or 3.2 twins? Are you running it with duals out back? Thanks for your help

Depending on the org. it depends... I know if they require DOT legal tires I see just about everyone running the 33" STS tires. If DOT isn't required I know Pitbull and Cepek both make 33" cut tires...

About 95% of the super street guys are running 35" tires. The other 5% are broke low lifes (me) that are stuck with 33" inch tires cause they don't have the money.:doh: I ran out of gears in my profab so this will be a must change on the truck for next year. And most of them run duals as well.
 
Run the largest tire that the rules allow and gear accordingly for your power level.
 
I run a 3.0 truck in itpa, but like us most pro mod classes only allow dot tires ans no bigger that 35" and i do believe they allow no wider than 12.50 but i could be wrong. Like 2tone i am stuck running 33/12.50 sts, run the 35's if you can, it will be a lot easier to get the gearing dialed in as i do struggle with my setup as well.
