Ok, Ive heard a lot of good and bad things about certain companies for a stage 5 tranny upgrade...

I have a 04.5 LLY and it is my Daily driver but im at the drag strip almost every weekend, I will also use it for a Sled pull probably once or twice a year...

I only have a PPE Hot+2 ET right now but plan on moving up to EFILive and a GT42 at some point in the next 8 months give or take a month.

So if you could tell me what comany you think I should go with for a built tranny, let me know why and/or why not.

Thank you,

Nemo

Take a trip to Disneyland;) Mike L @ Inglewood trans (714)870-7300 (Few blocks from Disneyland), Can build you a Suncoast trans with some extras. Mike @ Inglewood and Ron @ Suncoast are buddys. BTW- That Hot-2 is killin your trans weather you know it or not, I was there;).

I have a SCIII installed by Mike L. Been running it 4 years now in the 470 rwhp range!

Thats a long, long, long way from Phoenix... :( But im guessing Suncoast is the way to go than?

And I know its messing my tranny up bad but its not messing with it as much as EFILive and that GT42 would do to it... :)

stage 3 will hold over 500 hp the stage 5 with converter will hold close to 800 and have a 2 year warranty. they can ship it to you and send yours back

Mikes SC4 build is basicly an SC5 FWIW. Give him a ring, he can fill you in on the details.

I have the Suncoast Stage 4 it handles 500+ HP and over 1100 FPT like a champ!

stage 4 i was meaning it was a typo on my part. stage 4 will handle 600 hp. we have a couple that are doing well with that setup.

We have the extreme purple one, however have heard alot of good about the Suncoast. Never did run the PPE HOT+2 on stock tranny, OUCH!

In that case I would say Stage V with billet input and output shafts. That and rods, pistons, some kind of head work, a gt42 or some kind of twin setup, cam and maby a little blue bottle. Don't forget about the dual fuelers.
