upgraded driveshaft

i have a two piece drive shaft on my truck now and would like to keep it two piece has anyone upgraded to a larger series u-joint ? if so did you keep the stock yokes at the trans and axle or are they different as well ?

You need larger yokes on the shaft or just get shafts from a manual transmission truck. If you take a look at your truck you will see that either of the shafts (smaller joint shaft or larger joint shaft) will bolt right up at the pinion because it's a flange to flange connection.
