Upgraded intercooler??

Ok, I'm still running a stock intercooler with my application and all I do with the truck is pull. I don't drive it on the road. Do you think it will make that much of a difference for just 300 ft.? I've been debating this for a while so I want to know your opinions before I go and spend 1000+ bucks on one :kick:. Let me know.

Are you having an issue with EGTs? Usually an aftermarket intercooler can drop you temps anywhere from 100-250*F, depending on application. I am in need on one as well and will have Joe Hellmann build it for sure.

The spearco we put on dropped egt s about 200* and the truck ran better all around.

the banks setup is actually a good deal- $1200 for cooler/horn/ and 3.5" tubes

The classes I run in will allow no water injection. Otherwise I would have done that.

I'd have to agree with that ^^.. It's the only Banks part that'd ever touch my truck... But Banks would probably charge me triple that :hehe:

I actually got mine for $1,100 total- cant beat that price

He has a full machine shop with CNCs. He builds lots of intercoolers and many members here that are running his parts with great success.

I refuse to put a Banks part on my truck!
