i recently installed the posilock kit on my truck and in the process or trying to elimitate a vaccum leak problem. just curious as to what the rubber plug with the four lines plugged into on the transfer case is actually for. can i remove it and cap the lines off at the lines off at the firewall? or do they actually function something on the transfer case? i know that my 4x4 is functioning correctly with the new posilock kit just not sure if that is plug is a form of a junction block for the vaccum lines for the CAD or if it has some other function.

Its just the vac for the CAD unit, you can plug or cap them off just don't cap the tcase vent.

Ok thanks been trying to track down this vaccum leak. Trying to eliminate any extra lines to narrow down where the leak can come from.

Just a junction block to lock in the CAD and to control the 4wd and low range lights on the dash where ever those things are located at.
