Vacuum system

Is there any reason why I can't use the engine vacuum pump to run the trucks vacuum system. Reason being I want my air filter to sit where the electric setup is now. I have batteries in the stock location as I like that setup better incase you were wondering.

Just thought I'd update this and let others know that it's super easy to convert, just pull the electric unit and the black bubble box thing and hook into one of the tees with a line back to the cummins vacuum pump. Very easy swap.
