Valve Adjust Specs

I know the Cummins specs are 0.010 on the intake and 0.020 on the exhaust.

I remember reading I think on the TDR several years ago about guys going to 0.08 and 0.018 and would get more power out of that.

I was just wondering if this is something anyone on here has heard of?

I've heard it done on 12 valves for a bit more lift, not sure on 24v's.
