Valve Lash

I've got a little bit of a ticking sound and I'm at recommended interval for adjusting the valves on a 01 24v. The manual calls for intake 0.010 in. exhaust 0.020 in. What are you running? Have you played with valve lash any and found a setting that works better.

I have ran them at .8 and .15 before on a stock cam. I will have great bottom end to about 2200 rpm and then it's a turd. I just reset them a week ago and put them at .8 and .18 and i like it. It still has good bottom end, and it does better past 2200 rpm. I tow my puller around every weekend and i like low end power to get you going.

I did 8 and 18. Its still not running right. It runs quiet as a church mouse with the #5 injector line loose. Im swapping out injectors to make sure something wild isn't happening with my VP before I ship them back.
