valve spring questions

i have 6 60lb valve springs. i was only going to use these because thats what i was told i would need to turn 4k. at what rpm should at 12 be changed out?

also, what is the seat pressure in lbs of stock valve springs? what is the pressure of 60lb springs?

3200rpm and above you should have 60lb valve springs on at least the exhaust side. I did both intake and exh. because it's easier to do when you are in there already and it's only another 55$ for a piece of mind. The stock springs are either 35lb or 40lb I can't remember.

Just exhaust side springs are usually enough.

Zach Hamilton have posted a few times about 12 valve springs. IIRC the 60lb springs usually have around 150lbs of seat pressure. I'm not sure what stock comes with (90lbs, or 60 less than the 60lb springs comes to mind) but I'm sure a search under his name would prove helpful.
