vapor locking

ihave a customer with an 01 auto 150 fass 200h injectors, bd hot rod pump, everyting appears to be right other than the vapor locking, crack an inector line an it fires instantly, fuel pressure 17psi. I'm thinking inj pump what do yall think? thanks in advance
 
Are all your fittings tight on your fuel lines? Also check crossover tubes for any damage. Doesn't sound like a failing VP to me.
 
Exactly..do not go from wot to no petal, it will vapor lock. After a wot run, give it a little throttle to keep that from happening....you can hear it "clear out". And ditto on the wrench, sometimes ya get excited and forget about it and need to crack a couple line to get er going again

If you own a shop you should already know all the above given advice and how to diagnose a VP problem with the correct tools....
