Very strange.

so i got this weird intermitant problem going on with my truck(truck in sig). randomly when im driving and starting to decel, it will downshift into first and then when i speed up it will stay in first. when its stuck in first, i can use my lockup switch and i still got first gear lock up but it wont up shift. and then randomly after driving around in first it will suddenly upshift and be fine. at first i thought it might have been the transmission speed sensor so i changed it and i still got the same problems. idk if anybody out there has run into this problem before. its very annoying and i wanna get to the bottom of it. any info is much appreciated

Whens the last time you changed trans fluid/filter? Sounds like something might be a little sticky in the valvebody

If I had to guess, a governor solenoid and pressure transducer will probably fix it.

where can i get those? i have an ATS valve body

i did a tranny service about 3 months ago

it will also throw the p1693 companion code sometimes when it does this. and when i clear it, it will usualy act normal.
