im trying to figure out how to controle a vgt turbo if i put it on my 12v can anyone help? i like pics lol

I like bird dogs, shotguns, and knives.

I also like it when people use the shift key, and proper punctuation.

theres lots of post about this just search around, im thinking about doing it using a wastegate actuator and drive pressure, i had an idea and havent heard anyone with this before, run the drive pressure line into the cab first with a gauge, then get a pressure regulator valve and run it thru that and then back to the turbo, that way you could adjust how the veins open from in the cab while your driving and you could adj them for different kinds of driving too, towing, racing, normal, etc., i dont know how well this would work but i sounds good in my head

Fleece performance makes a contoller for that turbo. I have the same turbo an ran into the same problem of controlling it. The contoller is around 400 bucks. I can't tell ya how well it works coming up with the money has been an issue. But that's the easiest way I have found.

He's got a 12v so no electronics. They only make them for CRs and 24vs. I'm doing one on my 12v with a wastegate actuator right now. Just have the intercooler pipe and exhaust to fab up and it will be ready for tuning.

Here's some pics of mine and there's one I took apart in there too. I was looking into putting a garrett vgt on for awhile. One preferably off a dmax not a 6.0 due to the powerstrokes weird mounting. But I ended up dropping the idea after some a$$hole outbid me on ebay for one haha. I have talked to quite a few people who ran the simple he351's and havent heard to many people that were in love with them. A lot of people said there fuel economy suffers and those turbos bark far more than a standard setup. And there are a couple guys having good luck with the 451 but none of those have crossed my path for a good price. If I had the opportunity to get a dmax turbo or a he451vgt I think I'd swoop it up though.

Ah crap I was just checking my facts before I posted the first video i have seen before the second video I had not. Looks like Im gonna have to try this lol
