I know HP wise what it will do but who can tell me for sure what it changes? Fueling, timing or both?/

Which could contribute to pump taking a crap? So it increases the fuel injection amount, longer injection duration?

It's a crap shoot. Some go as soon as their tapped some last forever. Having a good fuel supply system helps a lot.
What kind of box you considering using?

Same Comp Hot I have been using.I do not think any type of tap stealth included will be warranty with the rebuilt pump I just installed.i know it is wirth about 35/40hp on my truck in the past.

Holds the fuel solenoid open longer.

Actually it holds it shut. When the valve is shut, it allows the pump to build pressure and thus sends fuel to the selected injector. When the valve opens, pressure bleeds off of the rotor.

IMO, the only way to make the connection is to solder it...the stealth covers make a crappy connection.

I do not guess someone knows which wire on the truck harness that feeds the pump that could be tapped?:redx:

Not possible..... Just tap it.... Once you do, you will never drive an untapped slug again.

If you go to the edge website and look up the comp it should have a downloadable booklet that shows you where to tap in.

Not new to tapping always did on mine and all the customers that I have done but just put a new pump and they made it clear that ANY tapping voids the warranty.

chip at blue chip warrants his with the stealth cover. been running tapped for a couple years now with the stealth cover, no issues whatsoever. do it as long as you got good pressure/volume, you won't regret it.

You have two black wires that come off the pump harness go to the wire closes to the block and carefully cut the sheathing off. Then there will be two wires there the Edge comes with a killer tap. Just be carefull when you cut the sheathing and you wont regret the tap thats forsure.
