I have been reading some info on here and everyone seems to know what there talking about and i can use all the help I can get.

first how fast you want to go ?
and #1.5 how much you want to spend ??
these diesels will hual butt but they are not like a gasser and you need to spend your money wisely ! beef up then build up. if you build in power before you beef up the trans convertor or clutch you will start breaking things .

WARNING you are at the peak of a very slippery slope once you start with a little power it becomes a mission in life.
 
Hope you have a good size budget. Getting a 7.3 fast (today's "fast") takes a bit of $.
