the answer is you have to because of the length it has to be when you run the 24V manifold. I run an hx-40 style manifold and it works fine its just really close to the condensor lines :doh:

I have a 2nd gen ats 3 piece that I may be interested in selling, its used, and has a little rust on it from sitting in the garage, but works fine with no cracks. Ill take $350 for it.

I used stock oil feed line, stock DP (added short section to aboutb1' from flange) stock IC pipe and boot. I can email pics.
