Wastegate on an 40/3b set up

I ahve started putting my twins together and ran into a snag. I indexed the turbos and right were I need my top turbo to be is where the head on the wastegate is.wned: I tried using a wastegate off of an hx35 but they work side to side (In comparison to the turbo shaft) and the 40 runs parallel. Is there a different way to set this up without going to an external wastegate? The only thing I thought might work is to cut the wastegate arm off the turbo linkage and turn it 90 degrees to work side to side but I dont know?:bang

Cutting it off and turning it 90 degrees is what I ended up doing on my setup. Everything worked out good. Jim

Ditto. Grind the weld off on the arm and clock it 90 degrees.
