water in a 2.8 class?

what is the opinions of pullers on water injection in a 2.8 class? I think it would be a benefit especially on a 3rd gen truck??
 
Benefit any of the trucks. I think if you run water you dont run bushings. If run bushings water shouldnt be allowed. Just my opinion. Water in a 2.6 def no.
 
I understand water can benefit you. Will someone please explain to me though how or why it is? Also why especially for a 3rd gen? Thanks everyone.

helps cool the egts a little and on a thrid gen they do not have the ability to overfuel the cylinders in order to cool the egts like a big p-pump.
