I bought a 24 valve last week and have been driving it around some this week (driving it pretty hard too). When I bought it the oil looked good so I assume its something I have done to it! Yesterday I checked the oil and there was moisture on the dipstick like mayonaise looking crap and a little moisture on the oil cap. I got it to the house and figured it was the hg so I went ahead and pulled the head to check it out. There was no oil in the radiator. Right below the thermostat housing was what appears to be oil coming out of either the top of the oil cooler housing or from under the head, I couldnt tell. There was some moisture under the valve cover but not terribly bad. No noticable amount of water in the oil and the head gasket didnt really look blown anywhere. The head bolts were pretty loose probably around 75 lbs and it has an Industrial HOvp44, II 110hp injectors, and a II 64mm turbo. Like I said i already have a new hg on the way. I was thinkng about checking the oil cooler gaskets too and maybe putting another cooler that I have laying around the shop on it. I forgot to mention the oil pressure runs pretty high on this truck even after it warmed up. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have seen them do that, but Its not real common...Its possible the coolant was never changed causing the cooler to backup and push out the seals...

or the truck could have just sat for a longtime?

The radiator only had water in it not antifreeze...i didn't think anything about it being the truck came from south florida...the hg water ports are rusted pretty bad so its been straight water for awhile i imagine

If your oil pressure is up and never goes down. You should get a new filter housing. The relief valve is stuck. been there done that. I have all the part # if you need them.

was the actual engine oil milky or just on the dipstick tube? i have seen a few trucks that the dipstick didnt seal well and would get moisture in there with the heat cycles and would appear to be water in the oil. the oil on the actual dipstick on the end was fine just some residue on the upper part of the dipstick.
