What pump lube fluid is everyone running? And how much do you dilute it?

I seem to recall someone mentioning a NAPA brand fluid but can't remember what it was. 1 pint to 1 gallon of water.

Will be using a hydraulic pump at 1000 psi for the new system.

Napa water soluable cutting oil 765-1526. According to Scott, available in pints, gallons or 5 gallon buckets.

Thats what I have been running in mine and it seems to work good. Jesse Did you end up with a pump and nozzles like mine?

I have been using the same as JoeFarmer. It does make the water look like milk however I would not try and drink it.

Well I stopped by the local NAPA today and picked up their one last bottle of cutting oil part # 765-1526. Apparently NAPA has discontinued them and can no longer order them either.

They had another brand available called "Sta-lube honing & cutting oil" part # SL2523 (for a one gallon jug). Do you think this would be equivalent?

Same pump different nozzles. Jerrod hooked me up. I should get the remaining parts by tomorrow so I can test it out and get it installed.

SL2523 is a CRC brand. Through CARQUEST it is $25.90 a gallon. Just for some pricing reference.

I've always liked CRC's products.

Can you tell if it is water soluable? All he could tell me was that it was honing/cutting fluid.

Thanks

EDIT: a goodle search revealed it is mineral oil based so it should be soluable in water...

I was using Carquest Water Pump/Anti-Rust lube which is what Haisleys recomended when I bought my kit from them. Turned milky and wouldn't rust my piping or engine parts if any sat in there.

I use distilled water only and I add water lubricant at the rate of 6 oz to each gallon useing the NAPA/CRC Concentrated Radiator Anti-Rust and Water Pump Lubricant #095335
