What are some of the systems that guy's are running and what was there cost?

I'm not running it but for as cheap as they are i'd be interested in hearing about the Devil's Own Kit. The base kit is only $199!!!

steve you are gonna need a big kit meaning 500psi+ . Jerrod Glover has made a very nice kit it can run more jets than you would ever need and upto 2000psi you should give him a call. he could tell you what to get.

I am running one of Haisley's (same as Schied's) kits. It looks almost like a hydrolic pack for a snow plow and I currently have it set at the 600psi mark. I am running 6 nossels and it keeps the EGT's nice and low! Pretty pricey
($1500 or so for the system) and you have to buy the extra nossels and I went with Stainless Braided hose from Summit and with all the hose and fittings it set me back almost another $500 but it worked great so to me its money well spent.

I have heard of guys building there own but I decided to go with something that was tried and tested and knew it would work!

Just look at it like this the smaller kits(snow-Cooling Mist) when you are sled pulling and adding that much fuel it's like pissing on a campfire.

Yes the small kits will not get the job done on a all out pulling truck. I am almost done testing the kit that I am going to run. It looks like the price will be less than the current kits that are out there and should work just a good. Let me have about a week to finish some testing then I will get back to everyone with some pricing. If anyone has a wish list of things they would want on a kit let me know. Remember this is going to be a Competition based kit now something for gas cars that has been reworked.

What would be a good 2 nozzle system for a CR in a 2.5 class. We have added a new 2.5 class for next year in KOTTPA and one of the rules is the water system is limited to a 2 nozzle system. I am building my 04.5 dually to run next season and I am looking for some info.

IF I ever get another water setup, it will be the haisley electric setup. The snow performance one I had was worthless for pulling. Even on the street it wasnt that great.

Since we are on the topic of water injection...has anyone ever experimented with water pre turbo (right into the atmospheric inducer)??? I have seen this done on some of the single turbo Tractor classes that alow water and was just curious as to how it worked and what it actually did.

A water nozzle in front of the turbo will act like a bigger turbo because it lets the wheel "grab" more air. However there has been some word or erosion of the wheel.

I agree that the smaller kits will not get the job done for a puller and the Haisley kit like Ryan mentioned is most ideal other than a well designed, capable home built system. But on that note, would the ATS Water Boy kit be considered a smaller, undesirable kit as well for pulling applications?

from what I see and hear, the ATS is just another knockoff of Snow's system, not for the big boys

Yup same stuff just a different label

That's what I figured being they sell mostly street performance products.

I guess then another question I have would be how much water would a typical Super Stock/Mod puller use during a hook since these smaller systems can't pump out enough to do any good??
