I was wondering of u guys whom are running water injection, how much is too much? I have a Snow Perf. stage II kit and they have contradicted themselves on what set up to run. As u can see in my sig i have a 66 charger and feel im at least in the 650ish hp range. the truck acts like its getting to much water & i have already changed one jet (smaller) and backed the 220 pump off to 180ish , but i think i may need to go more. i pulled 2weeks apart one w/ water, one w/ out. w/ out it ran at 4k at 1700 deg and blackened out the sun. with it wouldnt rev past 3500 rpm, no smoke at all, at 1300. Im also not sure just how accurate the Redline box is with EGTs. the truck does not seem to stumble like it is quenching the burn, just seems to lose power?

when is the water coming on and is it full on at once or progressive? My kit from devilsown I am running 24 gph 10 percent on at 15psi and full on at 35 psi. I see about 1400 on the egt gauge pulling and it never cleans up.

I'm not a guru on this... maybe PM John P... he does have some knowledge in this area. But if you feel you are getting too much, then change out a nozzle rather than turn the pump down. At that HP level, you can go through a crap load of water. I went through about 3 gals of water in six 1/4 mile passes... so almost 1/2 gal per pass!

i don't know nothing from experience. just a question though if it seems to lose power at thatinjection setting what would happen if you increased the meth 5 or 10 %?

were not permitted to run meth here in the East while pullin. Its a progressive kit, starts to inject @ 20lbs full on at 50lbs. I also just learned of a box issue so im sure that was a key factor.*bdh*
