Water Meth and Overfueling

I have a guy taht is interested in trading me his Snow Satge 2 W/M setup for my Nitrous setup. I am very over fueled even with the Silver 62 pushing 55-60 psi. EGT's get hot in a hurry. Truck is just a play toy though. I have not sparyed it yet even though teh Nitrous is set-up just never took the time to fill the bottle. I have read some places though that W/M does not really help a whole lot of you are as over fueled as I am. Thoughts?

I know... I cant bring it down. Even with the waste gate fully open it still pushes 50psi. Was gonna drill out the Wastegate but I cant drill from one bank to the other. I want to get it down to 35-40 and then spray it with what ever I decide to.

Yeah I'm thinking about a little turbo in a bottle... Am I correct in thinking that Water Meth wont use up extra fuel like Nitrous will?

nitrous will definately use fuel, but don't expect EGT's to drop unless you spray a LOT!!! LOL

Thats why I started this thread, I want to know if teh water meth will use up the extra furl also.

as i look at the picture you forgot something on the tank.you can not run the 1/4 mile at any track like that.you need a blow off tube that goes through the floor boards.if that blow off valve pops you can die from the sulfer dioxide they mix with the nitrous.maybe i diddnt see it?sorry for not answering your thread.but thats unsafe.

Thats why I started this thread, I want to know if the water meth will use up the extra fuel also.

It will use some by the extra cooling and chemical timing but not anything like N2O.

Water is great if you're overfueled!

Think F5.1s through a 62/65/13 secondary on a 610 motor is too much #2? :hehe:

We picked up 70HP with tap water at 5100'

Nitrous will give your extra fuel the oxygen it needs to burn better than water will. Water will lower EGT's better than Nitrous will and when mixed with meth will add some power. Sounds to me like you need Nitrous, or as mentioned above get the proper size turbo. You don't have to refill the turbo.

Running the biggest turbo I can run in my class. And I dont see jumping from a 2.5 class to a 2.8 (no 2.6 here) class helping me out. :lol:
