water meth mixed with nitorous

so here is a ?. is it ok or not ok to mix meth with spray while racing. whats better to use. i feel power and lower EGT's both ways. whats just better.
 
ive never mixed meth and nitrous, but as for straight water injection and nitrous ive run that quite a bit.
 
At least you will have plenty of ice cubes so when you break you can make a high ball and watch everybody else. JK!!:hehe:
 
Mike Woods NX Mustang has been doing it for a couple years with good luck. I've also done it with several turbo charged gas burners with no issues. I have it installed and plan to use both together on the Dmax '68 Camaro.
 
The theory I've heard is that since meth is a fuel, it effectively advances timing and is prone to detonate if you run a lot of it. Add nitrous to the mix with a lot of w/m, then boom, too much cyl pressure and bad stuff happens. However, if you don't run a lot of static timing on your engine, I think both can be used with no issues, just make sure to trigger them at higher rpm/boost levels.
 
Yes you are absolutely right... been to chicken to try it on my truck, and Im not to chicken to try things,, LOL..
 
yes timing is a very big thing. the trucks i know that run it had problems with one of them most of this last season. that motor wouldn't make a full pass without blowing a turbo or head off and come to find out that the fuel injection timing was way off and never got checked. put it back to where it was sopposed to be and walaah ran like a champ and quit eating turbos.
