Water pump bolt length

I need the dimensions on the water pump bolts. I installed what I thought were the right ones.
I put in two that were 13mm hex by about 16mm long. One bottoms out before it pulls the wp up tight.
 
Personally I would measure the thickness of the block casting and add the thickness of the water pump. That would be full depth so you might trim off let's say about 1/4" from the measurement and be good.

Sorry to say I don't know the length of the bolts but that's one way to resolve the length issue.
 
I appreciate the help.
I found a couple of washers at work and installed. I think what I had done was use the original washers on the intake bolts to pull the pump gear with an h-bar puller.
