I am thinking about putting a spin water separator and a spin on fuel filter on my2000 24 valve. Currently, I am running a Raptor 150 with just the stock filter. I want to so this set up because my truck froze up because it had water in the fuel, and now I am just nervous.

My question is can I run both the water separator and fuel filter on the suction side of my raptor? Or should I run the filters on the pressure side if my raptor? I am will be using full flow NAPA filters and NAPA filter housings.

Run it on the pressure side between the raptor and engine

Either way. If you run a raptor on a stock filter its after the raptor. I would want free flow to the pump and have the pump push through both but that's just me

This is what I was thinking. I didn't want to starve the raptor and in turn starve the VP. My other thought was that I wouldn't have such a pressure loss across the filters, if the filters were on the suction side of the pump.

A prepump filter / seperator with about a 20 to 30 micron rating will allow flow to the pump but keep anything big getting into the pump.
