Weights

I have been seeing it buck a pound around here. I will try and hit up some farm auctions this summer.
 
Just seen about 9-10 of them on craigslist here the other day... $90/each

Look for some off brands... Ford/Massey/etc they're usually cheaper
 
Call all the tractor dealers in your area. Most of the time they have pallets of weights from various brands just sitting in the weeds. That is where I had my luck and I also bought all brands except for IH. Like stated above, Try for the different brands because everyone wants the IH weights thus the higher price.
 
i have 800lbs for 450 bucks. if you need them let me know if not im going to the local guy around here and selling them to him just to get rid of them. they are duetz weights
 
I have priced them out from trueman welters in buffalo, MN a few years ago and they were about $100 each they had 4-5 pallets of them at the time some ih some off brand but the same shape and everything just not stamped ih.
 
Up until a couple of years ago you could buy them all day long for $35-$40 a piece at an auction. Now you're lucky to touch them for less then $65 a piece.
Looks like the price is still climbing....... :doh:

I wouldn't spend over $75 a piece for them personally....but I still think a can of pop should still only be 25 cents. :doh:
