My buddy had a 98 24v with a very weird issue, he put a TST box on it and everytime he switches the box on, if the heat is on, the truck will pop and sputter and act up, and will continue to do it for about 5 minutes afterward before running right again.
if the TST is off it never gives him an issue to run the heat. he said its done this for 3 years now and is not a new problem.
i checked the TST wires last night and he has the power lead tapped into the wiring harness on the firewall, it is a green wire with black tracer, if anyone has a wiring diagram for a 98 and can tell me what that wire is it might help us. tho he told me he tried wiring the TST power directly to the battery and it still acted up.
if you have any ideas throw them my way so we can try to fix it.
