Welded Differentials

I was wondering if anyone was doing a welded diff on their pulling trucks instead of a locker or a spool, and if so how they hold up?

Dana 60 Dana 80. Welded front and back. Not a single problem.

Puller is no big deal, street is something else.
If you don't have a cad system on the front turning might be fun.

The truck is a dedicated puller so I should be fine.

Welded is fine, just pull it out, clean it good and weld it real good.

I tell people its Mller Loc-Rite, limited production run.

a proper weld with heat in consideration will be no problem. have done it with drag racing, dirt track, pulling, etc. never had one break

Works great. Lincoln Locker on my puller until I upgraded to the BIG axles and spool.
