West Tennessee Truck Pullers (West Tennessee Truck Pullers | Facebook) will be having a truck pull Friday night, September 16th at 7:00pm at Fairgrounds Park in Jackson, TN for the West Tennessee State Fair. Pull will be in the riding arena behind the midway. For more information, call Mark Maples at 731-616-2755. Looking forward to it.

Location: Fairgrounds Park, Jackson, TN, 38301 Directions
Entry Fee: TBA
Payback: Top 3 places. Must have atleast 3 trucks to make a class.

**Note: There will also be a pull Saturday, September 3rd in Mercer, TN at Maples Farm to gear up for the fair pull. Directions to Maples Farms. This pull will start at 5:00pm.**

Rules: (If you make the effort to show, we will find a class to put you in.)

* Prefered clevis type hitch on all vehicles *

~Stock Gas~
-Maximum hitch height – 26”
-Vehicle must have stock apperence
-6,500 lbs
-No cut/grooved/altered tires. DOT approved only
-Full exhaust
-No hanging weights of ANY kind. Secured weight in bed ONLY to meet weight limit.
-Must have full working suspension
-Receiver type hitch only

~Open Gas~
-6,500 lbs weight limit.
-Anything goes, run what you brung, whatever didn't fit in stock gas class, etc.

~Street Stock Diesel~
-8,500 lbs
-Stock (Factory) single turbo.
-Diesel only (fuel)
-No propane, no nitrous, no water/meth.
-Vehicle must have stock apperence
-No cut/grooved/altered tires. DOT approved only.
-No added fuel pumps – stock (factory) system only
-Maximum hitch height – 26”
-ONE programmer/chip allowed
-Full working suspension
-NO traction bars allowed
-NO hanging weights. Ballest allowed to make weight limit. Ballest must be securely added to bed of truck.
-Single wheel trucks must run single rear tires. Factory dual rear trucks are permitted to run dual rear wheels
-One Ton (3500) or smaller chassis' only.

*Exceptions for factory trucks weighing under 8,500 lbs. Weight must be securely added in the bed of the truck to equal 8,500 lbs*

*ABSOLUTELY NO added weight for trucks weighing over 8,500 lbs stock*

~Diesel Class #2 (Hot Street)~
-8,500 lbs
-Modified stock turbo allowed and stock multiple turbo trucks (6.4 Ford) allowed.
-Multiple chips and programmers allowed
-Maximum hitch height – 26”
-Dual wheels allowed
-Traction bars allowed
-Minimum of 1” suspension travel. Blocks/bump stops allowed.
-NO cut/grooved/altered tires allowed. DOT approved only.
-Diesel fuel only
-No propane, no nitrous.
-NO hanging weights. Ballest allowed to make weight limit. Ballest must be securely added to bed of truck.

*Exceptions for factory trucks weighing under 8,500 lbs. Weight must be securely added in the bed of the truck to equal 8,500 lbs*

*ABSOLUTELY NO added weight for trucks weighing over 8,500 lbs stock*

~DIESEL CLASS #3 (Open)~
-Open – 8,000 lbs
-All fuel types allowed
-Twin turbos allowed
-Any hitch style
-Anything else goes.

Yeah, that's what they are looking for. A good turnout. The more the merrier, right? The rules are tentative as they are just looking to put on a good show and get trucks out there.

I also know they are trying to get some of the Hot Farm, Super Stock, and Super Farm tractor guys there for the next night, the 17th, to fill out the week.

The "week" being:
Tues. night- Antique tractor pull
Wed. night- 4 wheeler pull
Thurs. night- 1/4 scale tractor pull
Fri. night- truck pull
Sat. night- tractor pull

Mark Maples and the bunch down here has the pulling bug kind of bad if you can't tell.
 
We'll try to make it to this one as long as truck is still together, busy month for us, pulls every weekend
 
Bump for the "gear up" pull next weekend, September 3rd, at Maples Farms in Mercer, TN starting at 6:00.
 
The pull is a week away. They have laid the dirt for the track as of this afternoon. Thank you guys for the interest and I hope it turns out to be a good time.
