I'm looking into doing dual wheels on the back of my 97 puller. I know it can be done with a spacer, but curious if there are any other model (Chevy, Pre-99 Ford) dually wheels that will fit the large hub on the D80?

Thanks,

Ha........ and you call me "training wheels"..........wtf? lol

Those are probably the only wheels that will fit. Eagle Alloy makes a set of 16x8's for the rear, but you have to use a stock 16x6 steel wheel with them I'm guessing for street use. You may be able to use 4 of the aluminum wheels sinces its just a puller now.

Quiet stick boy!:kick:

Its just an "idea"....Kevin Caudill putting 2 feet on Wesley Wade the other night definately has me thinking a lot.

Correction, they are 16x6's. I thought I seen Teddy Bear post along time ago he had 16x8's on his. All I can find is 16x6.

Oh and Wes Wade had duals on that night too.

I finally got a set of 315/70 (almost 35x12.5) on my truck last week. Luckily the rear tires don't touch with my 1.5" spacers

Yes I know 16x6's are the only wheel's you can buy for a dually unless you get some custom width built.

His are 16x6's on the back, but he runs a standard 16x8 on the front. which is what I plan on doing once I order some 1/2" spacers to get the '01 wheels to clear the tie rod ends on the 99.

I'm just wondering if there is any options of picking up some cheap OEM wheels somewhere. I've acquired so many tires this year I have enough to run duals.:hehe:

Oh....and Kevin putting it to Wes with single wheels vs. duals is what has me thinking "ONLY" if I can find some cheap wheels.

Lynn has 2 you can barrow off the front of his 2wd. search around junk yards. you may find a few trucks with the spare tire still mounted under the bed and can use the wheel.

Yeah I do have two you can borrow if ya need em, Just find me a buyer for the tires I have on them, plust the other 4 matches I have. 245-75/R16 Larado AWTs. 10ply.

Hmmm you done got me to thinkin......:evil Know anywhere that I can get about a 12-14 inch spacer.... Dont know why but the vision of Triples just came into my head.... haha :umno:

See ya tonight.
