well, i've been thinking, and i'm sure its a stupid question, but! how would compounding another turbo into our stock turbo work? say take a gt42 and plumb that into our stock turbo. would it work decent? if it would not work, then why? i would like to know more about the whole compounding turbos thing, as far as sizeing and any other things go!
i was thinking this cause a guy from chassi fab class here has a 12v, and put a cat 3406E turbo on and compounded it into his stock turbo. he's got cut delivery valves and some other ****e i think, so he's got a good amount of fuel going to it. anywhay, word has it that it works pretty well, so it just got me to thinking....
