I have the chance to run a large single on my truck either a 71 or 75mm. i have driven a truck with a 71mm on the street before and it wasnt bad to drive of to get to lite, im wondering how much more lag will there be with the 75mm charger, the 75mm would be using the same housing as the 71 i drove.

Im running a redline, comp stack with 7x.018's and a loose converter

i would think it would be pretty laggy man not to much fun to drive whos fuel pump are you running?

you couldent get the silver bullet to light i would think a set of twins with a 75mm primary would be a better setup for a street truck

A properly set up p-pump 24v will light a phatshaft 71 pretty well! like around 22-2400! .83ar wastegated

It all depends on the setup. Cam? Headwork?

A 3.0 seems kind of big for an SO..but if you aren't driving it on the street, can't you just wait until you put the 'big' pump on and then put a 2.8 or 3.0 on it?

same with a properly set up 12v. i can light my 71 around 2000 and the damn thing doesn't light untill i hit about 15psi. and i still have a little 180 pump with some ddp dv's and some 4k springs and a functioning afc, hasn't been off the truck yet!

it probably is lower with a 24v too, I was tryin to be modest, so if it was a cmplete lag pig he wouldexpect it!

i dont see why you couldnt light a 71... that can be done on small sticks, no dvs, and a 3gsk for a 12v a 24 with the better breathing head should be able to do it

you know your going to do it anyways! so put that thing on and tell us how it works out!

idk my buddy has a lot of fuel, and he has 4.10's like i do so i think a 71 would be quite fun on his truck too, but his injectors are still too big, he needs to step down alot, something much smaller like a mach 6 would be very nice with the 2.8 charger.
