I am about to add a fueling box, stage 3 or 4 injectors, and fuel system to my 24v. I already have a valvebody to put in stock my tranny, just wondering what else i need. I was thinking the VB and a big single or triple dics TC and it would be fine, what do you guys think?

A good TQ converter and VB will get you by for a while but with your setup you'll be making around 400 at the crank and thats enough to break a stock input shaft.... and if you snap your shaft it will probably ruin your Converter and pump. If you spend the extra $$ on a Billet input now you won't have to worry about ruining $1500 worth of parts when your shaft lets go.

Triple disc and billet input at minimum. you will be pissed if the stock input grenades, and takes out your new TC and pump...... Many shops will not warranty a TC with a stock input.

Wish i could afford Goerend, but whats a billet input shaft cost? Also anybody got a TC for sale?

You need Goerend Parts - input shaft $650, Triple disc converter lifetime warranty $1295, VB w/ solenoids $495, and should get high strength shift lever $85... initial cost is high but no worries is priceless...

honestly if you dont have the money to put in a good tranny i would hold off on putting the other stuff in.

Do the tranny right the first time and be done with it.

Goerend has reasonable prices and if you say you cannot afford them, then wait.

Billet Input is around $700 from Opie.

Good single disc convertor around $550. The one I have is limited to 600-650hp though, but I don't plan on making that kind of power.

Well I ordered a TC and a few other goodies from Goerend, so I should be set.
