what exhaust housing to run on a k31???

i just bought a k31 its a wastegated housing so i no i will have to change it to run this as a single. i was wondering what most of you guys that are running them as singles were running or what i should run. i have a 13mm pump big stick cam and a ported head i didnt buy my injectors yet i was thinking of 5x18 but i dont no with this turbo setup so what do you guys think i should run. im going to be pulling with the truck but "try" to drive it on the street smoke is not a prob i live in bfe and no one gets concerned about it just want the thing to be able to light off on the street thats all thanks guys
 
was thinking about 2.8. do they have alot of problems like the hx40s ???
 
I have been asking around about k31s Industrials are the only ones that seem to hold up good. Your going to want to run a gate. Is your truck an auto or a manual? I would give industrial a call and they can tell you what housing will be best.
 
my k31 is an industrial and i have a manual. my prob is is i talked to two diff people from indistrial and they both told me completly opposite things the one guy i think his name was shawn but im not sure on that said i could run a big t4 style housing and then i called back with more ??? and i talked to a guy named brandon and he said to run a smaller t3 style so now im really confused and thats why i figured i would turn to you guys and see what u think
 
My dads got a t3 1.0 housing non wastegated housing for a k31 for $200. Let me know
