What have you broke?

A comment in another thread got me to thinking... What all have you broke while sled pulling? I'll go first with my list...

- At the least 6 rear driveshafts
- 1 1410 rearend yoke
- 1 1410 transfer case yoke
- Twisted front driveshaft
- Front Ujoint
- Front Ujoint Straps
- Dana 80 3.55 Ring and Pinion
- Stock axle shaft, Dana 80
- Twisted 2 35 spline SCS axles (still usable)
- Bent frame
- Blown rear freeze plug
- Transfer case tailhousing
 
Knock on wood... only one D80 axle shaft(stock) but it took the axle tube with it! Welded the LS clutchpacks together and cracked 2 floater plates in the dual disc. I was going to mention the piston I melted when an injector tip broke off, but technically that wasn't while sledpulling.

So far after a season and a half the only thing broken was the hitch one time. Been lucky want to keep it that way.
 
With only 5 hooks on my current truck, I made it down the track twice and only one of them didnt result in broken parts :hehe:.
3 output shafts
Front u-joint/yoke
Broke my ladder bar brackets ending up with S shaped leaf springs
Rear spiders
Headgasket
Clutch
I'm sure theres more just to depressed to think about it........:hehe:

nothing.....yet.....but my truck hasnt even made it on the track......

im thinking atleast one tranny, most likely a t-case, one rear axle shaft and ill throw a driveshaft in for good measure.......all of that will give long before my all 35 spline front axle will though.....
 
Absolutely nothing!! I hooked once last yr. and decided against the sport before it cost me a chit ton of cash.

The only thing i ever broke racing was a HD intercooler boot and threw a serpentine belt.

All my stuff breaks on the street.

not all was broken while pullin, but im sure it had something to do with it
on the 24v(did 12v swap)
half a dozen vp-44's
4 clutches
2 input shafts(nv4500)
T-case chain
3 u-joints
2 head gaskets
kunckle on the front drive shaft
cam shaft(went to hell from there)
on the 12v
rear freeze plug
head gasekt
transmission(making weird noise LOL)

the list goes on
 
15 hooks plus or minus. one front axle u-joint, but my buddies 12 valve 30 plus hooks.
2 1410 dana 80 yolks
2 mainshafts 241dld
1 dual disk
front driveshafe u joint
two motors on the street, and 8 various clutches, among other things
 
broke a 241dld t-case output shaft
and the hitch reciever, smoked a centerforce clutch while pulling
broke my input shaft on the transmission probably due to pulling
 
13 hooks on my 02
No issues

5 hooks on my 97 and made it down the track only 1 time!

Spyders in the LSD
Floater plate (EEP Clutch)
Output shaft on transfer
Blew a boot
 
4 1410 d80 yokes
1 d60 pinion
241 dld output shaft
3 head gaskets
1 tappet cover gasket
shot the speedo gear through the cover of a d80-it was nowhere to be found
Bent a set of traction bars- 2" tubing by 1/4"!!- dont know how
And a couple clutches but who hasnt done that.
