1) Timmy is a class act, Through all the B.S. he stood by his convictions and and by the competitors.
2)The people in Alabama don't like fluids on their racetrack, so much so they ended the Diesel Comp. early....then attempted to restart it after 1/2 the field had left.
3) The Jeff Garmon is an accomplished Alpaca farmer (have to talk to Timmy about this one)
4) You CAN make a intake gasket from a nylon tie down strap (with some East Griffin imagination....Big Swole has pictures....LOL)
5) The guy riding the Ballistic Eagle Jet Bike is a #@$! NUT, 211 mph on a two wheeler....sheesh.

All the big guns were there at the invitational and had a great time meeting the all.

Thanks to Comp D for putting on the race, very well planned event except for circumstances beyond their control.

Well put, I'm not sure if we met?

1. I learned not to let people drive your vp truck on kill, when they don't know it will shut down in an intersection if you get out of it too quick!
2. they make funny shirts for pregnant women
3. waffle house needs to hire
4. there are lots of trashy people in AL
5. rich (UNBROKEN)'s truck is even more gorgeous in person! and pretty damn quick
6. men shouldn't wear pink t-shirts with purple ball caps.

I learned more but can't remember the rest

I learned that the AL Int. Track guy that kicked us out is a piece of Chit!!

I also learned that some people need to learn that when their chit is broke, DON'T try putting it back on the track and hold it to the floor!!!!

And to the old Fart that disrepected my girl friend about where she parked, Say that chit to my face next time!!! That crowd can stay a$$'s at home next time! That kinda attitude is NOT welcome in this sport!!

Sounds like someone in AL had more "bells" than brains.

Did anyone get any pics / vids?

1. Micky and Darren can convert a compound setup to a single in less than an hour and without changing the ducting lol.
2. If you stand in the staging lanes while the jet powered Freightliner is doing his business you will NOT be cold anymore.
3. The guy on the jet motorcycle actually had velcro on his firesuit to keep him on the seat.

Had fun guys.

I bet one of the big tractor trailer jet rigs leaked something and they blamed it on the pickup trucks

Darren and Scheid did show up. They both got to make a pass(s) but the track ended it before it really got started. The Scheid rail had a great pass but he had chute issues and caused a few skipped heartbeats on the first pass but he was able to stop.. Darren ran one strong pass but the diesels were cut off before he could make another one...It sucked....P/S trucks were staged and ready and they sent them back to the pits. GRRRRR

OK i got a few pics from this weekend but i have no clue how to put them on here so somebody tell me how

what would a tow rig be doing on the drag strip?

the problem is and always has been the same damn thing:

newbies are too excited to think correctly

they dont realize when to abort a run, shut the thing off, and most importantly that they should get outta the groove (that means pull over to the side and STOP)

true some of em couldnt think correctly if they were not excited but when you add the adrenaline its all over

have seen so many passes where the driver shoulda aborted the run not far past the 60' cone but instead they leg it all the way down the track

its just how it is...

don

Save them to your computer. Come here and in the bar up top click on 'photos' then 'upload photos'
When the window opens click on 'browse'...select the pics you want to upload one at a time then hit 'submit'

Once you do that it'l automatically create your gallery here....then you can copy the image (img) code and paste that into whatever thread you want.

I would think maybe in a drivers meeting they should go over shutdown procedures or something along that line for any new and even vet racers.
