i have an 01 dodge and i'm just wondering what would be a better stack
edge comp + SMARTY
or
tst + SMARTY

I'm wanting to run an edge juice with a smarty. Same thing as a comp just with gauges. Still waiting to find someone that has a smarty to try before I buy. Any one wanna help me out? I'm going to subscribe to this.

I have been told Stacking a Smarty And Edge Juice you only gain 10hp. I have not seen this myself. That is just what i have been told.

they are both excellent stacks! but you can get more out of a tst and a smarty because the tst is only a fueling box and a smarty has some of the most aggressive timing. i am running a tst and a smarty and its wicked!

Drag comp and Smarty here also, Just got my smarty last week, and it makes the truck very interesting to drive.

comp and smarty here. i love it but need to sell the smarty. anyone need one?

Truck has alot more power at the bottom, so it just makes it interesting/fun to drive. Takes off quicker to me. but I turned the comp off today, and reloaded the smarty on 9. And the smarty alone is pretty impressive for the power it is. :rockwoot:

Lets start the bidding at $10 :hehe:.

PM me if your serious. I might be in the market soon.[/QUOTE]

i bid $ 25

I've heard several folks say they didn't gain much PEAK horsepower by stacking a smarty.

But, they really help on the bottom end. I don't even like driving a manual transmission truck without a smarty. I haven't found a single box that improves the bottom end like the smarty.. TST, Edge, Bluechip and Quad don't compare (in my humble opinion).

I've heard the TST / Smarty stack is best for peak HP. I don't like the defueling shutter of the TST or the Comp. I'm personally running a Blue Chip FMS / Smarty stack, and as long as the truck has a VP, I won't be changing.

Unplug the map sensor on a comp and it'll definately give you bottom end, but its not near as linear as a smarty. Depending on the program you're running though, will determine just how linear it is. The longer its on my truck, the more jumpy it gets. I reload it to stock every now and then and reprogram back to smooth it back out. Not sure what all this is about.

There's something to be said about peak horse power but not every thing needs to revolve around the rollers. In drag racing if a programmer makes better lowered than another but doesn't make that 10 extra horse I could see it being better for racing.
