A little bird told me that more can be done with the newer FICM's when compared to the older '03 versions...any truth to this, or does it matter at all what year you use for modifing? (Reflash/voltage mod)

There are tuning advantages for the newer FICM'S. I have had this discussion with Eric at Innovative a few times.

I don't know anything about the voltage mod being different.

Ups the voltage output from around 48ish to the high 50's. People say there is much better cold start and better all around performance. People are questioning the longevity of it though...

Thanks, I was wondering about the longevity of the coils on the injectors also.

IIRC the earlier FICMs allow a CEL code for any individual injector issue where the newer FICMs will code an entire side for any one injector failure.
